Batman Year One
The story recounts the beginning of Bruce Wayne’s career as Batman and Jim Gordon’s with the Gotham City Police Department. It started as an American comic book story arc written by Frank Miller and illustrated by David Mazzucchelli. It originally appeared in issues #404 to #407 of DC Comics’ Batman comic title in 1987.
Then in 2011, a film adaptation in the DC Universe Animated Original Movies series was launched based on Frank Millers’ work. It was produced by Bruce Timm, co-directed by Lauren Montgomery and Sam Liu. It features the voices of Benjamin McKenzie as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Bryan Cranston as James Gordon and Elisa Dushku as Selina Kyle/Catwoman.
I was back in college when i first got a hand of this awesome masterpiece. As i recall i was an OJT for an ad agency back then. Kuya Abe, one of the copywriters there, shared my passion for comics so he did me a great favor and lend me his copy of his batman comics (Batman: Year One and Batman: The Dark Knight Returns). That changed my life.

Star Wars: Jedi - The Dark Side
My favorite character in the whole Star Wars Saga is Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn and I’m so excited that finally they are going to make a comics about him before episode 1. This new title features the story of Scott Allie and art by Mahmud Asrar (interior/cover) and Stéphane Roux (variant cover) and it’s about a young Qui-Gon Jinn and his first padowan learner before Obi-Wan Kenobi, Xanatos. They’re on a mission to prevent a civil war in Xanatos homeworld. This comics will explain a lot about Jinn’s character in the whole saga.

—My favorite panel in HellBlazer#1- Hunger.
Ibang iba sa mga ussually na binabasa ko, well of course given the fact na dati na talaga akong mahilig magbasa ng mga stories about demons and mythological creatures or stories about dark magic and voodoo, pero this one talaga is like the Godfather of those comics in my opinion, so to conclude..I’m reading on.
